Job Function:
|
Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned outdoor power equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager/Shop Foreman/Senior Technicians.
|
Essential Duties:
- Performs basic outdoor power equipment diagnostics and determines what repairs are needed, if required.
- Performs basic outdoor power equipment repairs as requested by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman.
- Participates in all job-related training and development.
- Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.

| Skills & Qualifications: |
-
Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of outdoor power equipment. Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Good skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.

Job Function:

Performs a variety of in-store customer service, marketing, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories.
|
Essential Duties:
- Sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
- Records sales and/or counter transactions.

Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
- Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
-
Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.

Participates in all job-related training and development.

Performs routine housekeeping tasks.
- Maintains condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment

| Skills & Qualifications: |
-
At least 1 year experience in Parts Department operations preferred.

Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
-
Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
-
Excellent customer service skills.
-
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic Parts Department reports.
